LO2 Inspiration
#1 - http://thescriptlab.com/features/the-lists/1014-top-10-voice-overs-in-film?showall=&start=1
This is an example of a script that uses voice overs, we were inspired by this script because it successfully uses voiceover to describe the surroundings and the narrative, which is what we intend to do. The voice is also that of the protagonists, which is also our plan except ours will be in third person.

This example of a short film used voice over exactly how we intend to when we create our script. The voiceover is third person, as well as describing the narrative slowly as the film progresses, it builds tension and also doesn't distract from what you are seeing. I want our script to be as powerful and as moving as the script, because the scenes themselves wont be too interesting and need to be made more entertaining through the successful use of voiceovers. Also this voiceover example has one strong voice throughout, we also intend to have one main strong voice throughout to channel the thoughts and emotions of the protagonist.

We were inspired by this short film because it also has the use of voiceover, most of it is completely silent apart from the music but towards the end the voiceover aspect kicks in. The voice is very powerful and moving, it has a strong voice and impacts the film greatly. I would like for our voice to be as powerful and moving as this voice, and also has a strong climax at the end and is good at both creating and progressing the narrative successfully.

We were inspired by this short film because it is of the thriller genre as is our short film, we took inspiration from the scenes in the woods and how to set the scene and how to film in these said woods. And we also took inspiration in terms of how to build suspense and set out the film, with an enigma and equilibrium and also how to focus on a protagonist and show their story.

This script inspired us because of the thriller genre which we wished to achieve, also it helped us in terms of grasping the whole thriller feel and how to organise how our characters would act and how they respond to the environment and the situation. Also we were inspired by the location setting at the beginning and how in depth it is, we hope to draw inspiration from this and create our own in depth location setting and successfully set the scene.
